NFC Ticket Guide

We are continuing to use NFC (near field communication) technology for stadium entry in the new season and all tickets will be digital on a smartphone, in the form of an NFC pass.

All season ticket holders, LFC Official Members and seasonal hospitality members must download their NFC passes to their smartphone before arriving at their turnstile to ensure they are all set to gain access into Anfield.

There will be no Print@Home or paper tickets.

Watch this how-to video to find out more information on downloading and using your NFC pass this season to access Anfield.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE DOWNLOADING YOUR PASS

We strongly recommend that you review the step-by-step guide relevant to the smartphone that you personally will use to gain access to the stadium on matchdays.

Please ensure that when downloading your NFC pass, you log in to My Account using the smartphone you will use to gain access to the stadium on matchdays.

iPhone 6 and above, and most Android/Google phones, are compatible with NFC technology.

NFC passes cannot be downloaded using desktop devices.

WHY NFC?

LFC has been working on NFC since 2018 alongside Fortress, Apple and Google.

In 2019 we started rolling out NFC in hospitality, with the plan to gradually roll it out area by area in general admission.

When the COVID-19 pandemic began, the government and Premier League guidelines pushed for all clubs to use digital tickets as a way of ensuring we knew who was in the ground and to make tickets contactless. This meant the plans to roll out NFC in general admission were accelerated.

The purpose of utilising NFC is to make accessing Anfield quicker and easier by removing paper tickets. This also means less physical contact to keep people safe during the COVID-19 pandemic and we know who is in the stadium, ideal for track and trace.
